ABOUT KHULE AFRICA
Khule Africa isn’t your typical orphanage.
We’re planted right in the heart of Uganda’s deepest slums. The places most missionaries avoid because it’s just too hard, too dangerous, too broken. But that’s exactly why we’re here.
Where there’s no clean water, no food, and no schools in sight… we show up.
Because no one else is coming. It’s just us.
At Khule Africa, we do more than feed and educate — we give these kids back their worth. We teach them to sing, to dance, to laugh again. We remind them that there’s a God who sees them, who loves them, and who’s not finished with their story.
This is about survival, hope, and reclaiming the future... one child at a time.

Is this a real ministry or just a tax-deductible donation?
Yes. Khule Africa is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are 100%
tax-deductible.
How do I know this isn't a scam?
Khule Africa is a grassroots ministry led by Mindy Hungerford, based in Orlando, Florida. We believe
in radical transparency-donors receive direct updates, receipts, and photos of their impact. You're
always welcome to email, call, or text our team directly.
Why Africa? Why not help children in the U.S.?
While there are children in the United States who face challenges, the children in Uganda's slums
endure extreme poverty beyond comparison-often without access to food, clean water, education, or
basic safety. Our founder, Mindy Hungerford, was called to Uganda in 2016, and we've been
committed ever since to serving "the least of these" where others will not go.
